It doesn't look like much from the outside but classic Japanese layout inside. They do say don't judge a book by its cover.
I love all the customers pictures around their walls. It's small but cozy. The foods was very good, place is clean and staffs are very sweet.
Good food, good prices, but a long wait and we didn't get a tea or little piece of sushi while we waited like a lot of other places offer. But we enjoyed the sushi. The beef in the beef teriyaki roll was a little dry, that would be my only real complaint food wise.
I got the veggie lunch bento box, for the price the portions are quite good. Kind of oily but still delicious. Clean and homey place. Friendly staff. Would come back.
Waitress is great and friendly. Presentation is excellent. Restaurant is clean and neat. The Crunch Sushi Rice is fantastic. First time seeing it on the menu and I think it is their specialty. Price is a bit above average. Great place to bring date or just got for some bite.
Got take out from here. It is AMAZING! I have found the sushi place I have been looking for, ever since I found out Ninja Sushi transformed into a Korean fried chicken place. 10/10 will order again. And 10/10 will bring people here to make then switch too.
This place offers great food but is a bit pricey for regular items. Simple sushi rolls are overpriced and sashimi is way over priced for the quantity that you get. It's good quality but you can get comparable quality elsewhere for a lot less.
I had the Royal Mango Lady Roll to go which left me thoroughly impressed! After placing my order, I sat at the bar while they made my roll. I was pleased to see the chef peel a fresh mango to use on my roll. The taste and texture of the mango pieces were a dead giveaway too! I’ve tried mango rolls at most of the Cloverdale sushi restaurants and they all used frozen mango chunks (possibly packaged) that were mushy and sour. I would definitely recommend the mango rolls here! Yet to try the other mango rolls and special rolls offered! :)
